    • Overview:
    A Symbiotic Step bridges the past and present of life on Earth, reflecting on our environmental impact and the delicate balance of survival.
    The front sole, inspired by the paramecium—a symbol of adaptability and thriving life—embodies resilience and the potential for harmonious coexistence with nature.In contrast, the back sole, shaped by the ancient trilobite, stands as a poignant reminder of environmental fragility and extinction.

    Each step represents a dual responsibility: to honor the past and protect the future, merging sustainable design with a profound connection to life’s evolutionary story.

    Design Process
    The geometric shape of the toe and the more industrial negative space express the gradually erasure of individual identity by mass production.
